Welcome to my Corset blog
I am often surprised by the number of people who say to me they not only like corsets but they find them comfortable. That’s because they have bought one which is made to fit them or they are lucky enough to have a figure which is a standard size. How many of us are fortunate - not many...of us. Most of all though a corset will not only support the bust but will reduce the waist, flatten the stomach and produce a cleavage to enhance and give a figure you didn’t know you had. The corset will support the torso and improve posture. Just try wearing and corset and you will immediately see how your figure will instantly improve.
Once you have had the experience of wearing a corset tell your friends and they will want one too.

"By her own admission Helena Bonham-Carter is not that well endowed in the chest department. But she has revealed how she is a big fan of corsets because they make her chest look bigger. CORSETS are the unsung heroes of many a celebrity's closet, pulling them in and pushing them out in all the right places.
They enhance the smallest cleavage and give shape to the scrawniest stars.
And they look even better on curvy cuties.
Rihanna wowed us wearing a sexy studded corset and skin-tight leather trousers at the WMAs.And she's just the latest in a line of stars using these magic figure fixers to get noticed.
The history of the corset
In the early days of the Regency era some women wore tight but lightweight linen stays which had an effect similar to a modern push-up bra while some chose to wear no support at all. The ideal was to emulate the "classical" Greek look of ancient statuary and the older conical shaped stays of the Georgian era didn't do the trick. But soon new corset designs had caught up in "support" of the latest fashions. The corset was worn over the chemise, was typically made of linen, laced in the back, was “boned” for firmness and often had a long wooden or whalebone busk in the front to create the “lift and separate” support necessary for Regency fashions. A lady wearing a proper Regency style corset will likely carry herself with flawless posture.
